Nothing Compares 2 U cover, new Home Episode

I spent the week after New Years tracking and editing this video. This looping stuff is what I'm doing live right now (with the help of cellist Erin Hunt). Admittedly, it never sounds half this good because I'm not able to multitrack and take my time mixing it well like I did for the video, but this is what it would sound like if I wasn't cursed. Please pass it to anyone you know that's lonely and tell them I wrote it at them. If the link is broken, I apologize. It seems Prince is very unhappy to have someone pay him tribute in this manner - the video has been removed from every site it's been posted on:

Also, and of equal or greater importance, I have posted another song from Home on my myspace page called Sugar on the Sheets.

It's track 4 and it's sensual. I will be posting a new song every week until the album is released digitally on Friday the 13th of February. Please help me spread the word.

PS. The picture above is by the talented Jaime Lowe.

The rhythm track to Sugar on the Sheets is out of control.

Those tempo gradients make me feel dizzy.

Did you pull the video down? Why? I have listened to it about 5 times already.

Yeah, unfortunately Prince is a bit of a crazy mofo in the whole understanding copyright law department. Among probably thousands of other cases, he had a very funny live Radiohead cover of one of his songs pulled from Radiohead's channel.
