Hymn 4: Rehab in D Major

Hymn 4: Rehab in D Major

If you're lost in the dark
if you're lost in the dark
let the Lord lay to rest
your runnin' mind
and drunken heart

and when you exit from the tomb
forgive the ones who made you what you are.

even if they fall they are still my shepherd's sheep
and I deliver all of the scissors while they sleep

and while I stack the empties on a skid
this woman passed me four or five times
she was all but crying when she said,
"This place is a maze, how can you find your way?"

If you're lost in the dark
if you're lost in the dark
let the Lord lay to rest
your runnin' mind
and drunken heart

and I take her to find her dad
and she can see that it's not so bad
it's so close
she can hardly believe
when I offer to pray for them
she asks me to leave

If you're lost in the dark
if you're lost in the dark
there's a room prepared for you
to dry your drunken spirit off
